Masterclass with Bijoy Jain, in partnership with Fondation Cartier and ESA (École Spéciale d’Architecture)

The Ecole Camondo, the Ecole Spéciale d’Architecture (ESA) and the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain have organized a Masterclass led by Bijoy Jain, internationally renowned architect and teacher, as part of the current exhibition Le Souffle de l’Architecte, Bijoy Jain / Studio Mumbai.

Bijoy Jain invited the selected students to “bring a thought, a loaf of bread, the scent of a rose, the petals of a flower, a photo of your cat, your dog, your grandmother and so on…. Recite a poem, play an instrument to make music… and so on… and so on.” A unique experience, which enabled students to experiment and reflect on current issues alongside a major player in contemporary architecture.
