“Spaces of Thought” – Study day for the specialised Masters in Architecture and Scenography
agenda-en-2
January 07 2025
For its annual study day, the Architecture and Scenography Master’s programme is looking at the links between theoretical research, writing and scenography.
The morning (10.30am-1pm) will be devoted to dissertations, with presentations of research work by three alumni scenographers: Florence Delattre, Martina Stella and Iida Tulkki. In what way, in a training programme dedicated to scenography, can writing be a place for reflection in action on the profession for which one is destined?
In the afternoon (2.30-5pm), a round-table discussion with Frédérique Aït-Touati (historian of science and stage director), Estelle Giroux (architect-set designer), Paul Marchesseau (designer, interior architect, teacher) and Yann Rocher (architect, exhibition designer, teacher), will be devoted to approaches which, through exhibitions, performances, events or the use of public space, offer both symbolic and concrete spaces for thought.
