Growing the city, rethinking our relationship with the commons
agenda-en-2
March 7, 2025 - 18 PM
Nature is still all too often seen as a ‘tool’ for embellishment or compensation to meet the challenges of biodiversity. The aim of this conference is to provide some food for thought, and even some ideas for action, on our links with living things, in order to cultivate a nurturing city that helps people to grow and flourish, and that is integrated into nature.
How can we encourage interrelations between the city and nature right from the design stage of projects to support quality of life and urban development? How can nature in the city promote peaceful spaces conducive to encounters and culture? What can be done to encourage public support for projects?
How can we rethink nature as a component of the city and propose a meaningful and productive ecosystem?
