Admission to the Foundation Course
The Foundation Course is an introductory training program that prepares students for the competitive entrance exams to fine art schools, applied art schools and architecture schools. During this transitional year, students learn the skills and cultural tools that are essential to putting together a strong application for entry into fine art schools, applied art schools and architecture schools, in France and internationally.
Admission to the Foundation Course requires students to have passed the baccalauréat (all streams). Foreign students must provide their national baccalauréat equivalent and demonstrate a good command of French.
Admission is by application until June 30, 2018. Foundation Course students benefit from full student status in France: social security entitlement and eligibility for State grants.
Tuition fees are €8,300, due on registration, of which €8,000 is refundable in the event of failing the baccalauréat (or equivalent high school leaving exam) and in cases of force majeure. The remaining €300 consists of non-refundable application fees.
