We invite you to discover the fourth edition of Diploma, the virtual exhibition platform dedicated to the final works of Camondo graduates.
Since its launch in 2020, Diploma has become an invaluable space for showcasing the talent and creativity of our students. Once again this year, I’m proud to present the remarkable achievements of the class of 2024.
This year’s graduation ceremony has a special flavour, as the Camondo school celebrates its 80th anniversary this year.
To celebrate this major anniversary, the 5th year students wanted to pay tribute to Geneviève Pons by associating her name with their graduating class. Geneviève Pons, born in 1924, benefited from the early teachings of the Camondo school, which at the time of its creation was known as the Centre d’art et des techniques. At the time, the school was part of a dynamic movement spearheaded by the Union centrale des Arts Décoratifs, which had been hosting the Société des artistes décorateurs at the Pavillon de Marsan since 1906.
Drawing on a remarkable heritage and culture, that of French decorator-builders, the courses taught today at the Camondo school are at the crossroads of art, technology, and social and environmental practices.
The 2024 graduates are the bearers of this legacy. With 76 graduates, we’re seeing the emergence of a whole range of creative approaches. Through the development of their research and future professional practice, they will each contribute to enriching the history and influence of the school.
We wish them every success in their future endeavors.
