This fall, École Camondo plunged its students into the heart of creativity and innovation, with intensive week-long workshops. Students had the opportunity to work on concrete projects in collaboration with brands and alongside recognized professionals. On the program: exploration of artificial intelligence, the circular economy, new materials and the retail of tomorrow.

These workshops were conceived in a collaborative Trans-promo dimension, where 3rd-year students were able to pass on their know-how to 2nd-year students, creating a dynamic of sharing.

Highlights at Camondo Paris :

  • In partnership with Bang & Olufsen, students imagined new products combining light and sound, using artificial intelligence.
  • With the support of Commitment and MF BRANDS brands (Aigle, Lacoste, Gant, The Kooples, Technifibre), students explored the challenges of the circular economy in the fashion sector.
  • Students discovered the amazing properties of myco-materials, and their applications in interior design.
  • Focusing on the fast-growing and changing tableware retail sector, the students imagined new retail experiences.
  • The students pushed back the boundaries of jewelry design by proposing new product typologies for Les Néréides.

Highlights in Toulon:

  • The Workshop between Ecole Camondo and La HEAD Genève, with the theme “New Hedonisms – Climatic Domesticity”, invited students to imagine and construct domestic scenes adapted to a post-climatic era, using the bare living spaces of the Villa Romaine as a backdrop. To do this, they used low-tech transformations of second-hand domestic objects, unearthed locally.

These workshops enabled the students to develop their technical skills, creativity and sense of innovation, while preparing themselves for the challenges of the professional world. Many thanks to all the teachers who supervised these projects and supported the students in their creative and intellectual endeavors:

  • Alain Deswarte, plasticien, sculpteur
  • Valentin Dubois, architecte d’intérieur – designer (CAMONDO)
  • Thomas Dutter, artiste dessinateur, scénographe et réalisateur
  • Paule Guerin, designer
  • Artus Monat, architecte d’intérieur – designer (CAMONDO)
  • Emilio Moussallem, enseignant en Design de produits.
  • Raphaëlle-Laure Perraudin, architecte
  • Léonid Slonimskiy, architecte (HEAD)
  • Olivier Vedrine, Architecte-Designer & Scénographe
  • David Viladomiu, architecte (HEAD)

And well done to all the students for their hard work and dedication.
